Panasonic Group is a global electronics manufacturer engaged in the production, sales, and other business activities of various electrical products. In 1978, Chinese national leaders visited Panasonic Group’s television factory in Japan. During the subsequent talks, founder Konosuke Matsushita expressed his firm commitment to contributing to China. This marked the beginning of Panasonic Group’s business operations in China. In the following years, the Group focused on product exports and technical cooperation with Chinese factories, establishing its first joint-venture factory in 1987. To date, Panasonic Group’s business activities in China span research & development, manufacturing, sales, service, logistics, marketing, and more.
